02 - 120 ml sour cream
03 - 120 ml salsa (mild or spicy as preferred)
04 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
06 - Salt and pepper, to taste
→ Spiderweb Topping
07 - 60 ml sour cream (for piping the web)
08 - 1 tablespoon milk (to thin if needed)
→ Spider Garnish
09 - 8 large black olives, whole, pitted
10 - 8 large black olives, sliced into thin rings for legs
→ Dippers and Sides
11 - 120 g baby carrots
12 - 120 g cucumber slices
13 - 120 g bell pepper strips
14 - 120 g tortilla chips
# Directions:
01 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
02 - Spread the mixture evenly on a large round serving platter, forming a flat, even layer.
03 - Place sour cream for piping into a small zip-top or piping bag. Snip a tiny corner and pipe concentric circles over the surface of the dip.
04 - Using a toothpick or skewer, gently drag lines from the center outward through the concentric circles to form a spiderweb pattern.
05 - Position a whole black olive for each spider's body on the web. Surround each olive with sliced olive rings arranged as eight legs per spider.
06 - Place baby carrots, cucumber slices, bell pepper strips, and tortilla chips around the dip platter for dipping.
07 - Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
